Routine Cleanings and Preventive Care
Several studies have demonstrated a clear link between gum disease and cardiovascular disease. Proper dental care and maintenance are essential to your overall good health, and we can be an integral part of your wellness goals. We do regular cleanings, x-rays, and examinations in order to ensure the health of your teeth and gums. We also work with you to educate you in the best techniques for maintaining good dental-care habits at home.
Restorative Dentistry
Restorative dentistry is concerned with the restoration of teeth that have been decayed, damaged, or lost. We perform a number of restorative procedures, including the following:
Tooth-colored fillings We are pleased to provide tooth-colored fillings, which give patients a much more natural look than the old-fashioned amalgam fillings. Other benefits of this type of filling are that it bonds completely to the tooth and necessitates less removal of the tooth’s structure than silver fillings.
Natural-looking porcelain crowns Crowns may be needed to improve the appearance of teeth that are misshapen or discolored; they can also protect weak teeth from cracking, cover dental implants, and attach bridges. Crowns permanently cover teeth and usually require two visits to fit.
Bridges Bridges are artificial teeth that bond onto surrounding teeth in order to fill the space left by missing teeth. They help to retain the correct positioning of your natural teeth and make it easier to chew and speak.
Endodontics (Root canals) Root canals can help to save teeth that might otherwise be lost due to infection. The tooth’s unhealthy pulp is removed, the root canal is cleaned and sealed, and the tooth is fortified with a crown. Endodontic procedures are routine, and nowadays they can be done with no discomfort.
Partials Partial dentures offer an alternative to implants and fixed bridges. Like these other procedures, they close gaps in teeth, but they do so via artificial teeth that are attached to the natural teeth with precision attachments, which are practically invisible. To improve the fit of the partial, crowns may be placed on the remaining teeth.
Dentures Dentures are another solution to the problem of missing or decayed teeth. It takes more than one appointment to get fitted for dentures, but they can make a big difference in helping you to eat and speak. The dentist will extract any remaining teeth and make a model of your jaw during the first visit, and you may be given temporary dentures to wear while you heal. When your mouth is ready, your permanent dentures will be fitted.
Implants The most current method for replacing missing teeth, implants are painless, and they look and feel entirely natural. Implants are done in two phases, placement and restoration. The placement phase requires several months for the implant to unify with the bone. A crown or bridge is placed over the implant in the second phase. We are proud to perform all phases of implantations right on site.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Because they can greatly enhance your smile and general appearance and help to bolster your self-confidence, many restorative procedures are also considered to be cosmetic, including tooth-colored fillings, crowns, bridges, and implants. In addition, we offer the following cosmetic procedures:
Porcelain caps Of the various types of dental caps, all-porcelain caps have the nicest appearance, almost indistinguishable from natural teeth. Thanks to the latest bonding technologies, they also adhere exceptionally well to your teeth.
Porcelain veneers Veneers are wafer-thin coverings for the front of the teeth and have the advantage of being able to preserve most of the tooth tissue. They are also long-lasting and natural looking. An effective way to alter the appearance of teeth that are discolored, chipped, worn, or misaligned, veneers are easy to maintain because they resist staining.
Teeth whitening Our powerful, professional teeth-whitening options can brighten your smile in a minimal amount of time. You will love the dazzling results!
