Restorative Dentistry

It takes more than one appointment to get fitted for dentures, but they can make a big difference in helping you to eat and speak. The dentist will extract any remaining teeth and make a model of your jaw during the first visit, and you may be given temporary dentures to wear while you heal. The placement phase requires several months for the implant to unify with the bone. A crown or bridge is placed over the implant in the second phase.
